| If you can go to a shop to recover/drain your system of the remaining R-12 that would be the best because R-12(freon) goes into the stratosphere and eats up ozone. Some places do pay you for the R-12 recovered. However if you choose to do it yourself you can drain either port. Once that is done the conversion kits should contain the oil and refridgerant you need. I've done several conversions and watching output temps in the car (at least in the FL summer) I would see them go down in the low to mid 50's. Mind you this was done in the afternoon heat so your temp range may vary. Remember that filling with R-134a you really only fill to 80% of what you normally would with R-12. So watch your output temps and your sightglass. Goodluck with the conversion.
